A private charter with Poseidon in Turks and Caicos includes a professionally maintained yacht, a professional crew, a champagne toast, premium drinks, full meals onboard, snorkel gear and vests, paddleboards, and tubes for kids. Toys like SeaBobs and jet skis, charcuterie boards and lobster lunches are optional add-ons.
Two charter quotes a few hundred dollars apart can describe very different days. The price is half the story; what’s inside it is the other half.
Here is the full list, from the moment you step aboard at Turtle Cove Marina to the moment you step off.
The crew
Every Poseidon charter is crewed. You’re never responsible for driving or managing the boat.
- Salacia (62 ft): a captain, a deckhand and a bartender, with up to 22 guests.
- Calypso and Iris (51 ft Sea Ray Sundancers): a captain and a deckhand, with up to 12 guests.
- VENUS (51 ft power catamaran, new for the 2026–27 season): a crew of three, with up to 25 guests.
Our crews are local, or have made the islands home. They set up snorkel stops, help kids and nervous swimmers, point out landmarks and history along the way, and run the day at your pace.
The boat
You get a private, professionally maintained vessel for your group alone. Highlights by boat:
- VENUS: our new 51-foot luxury power catamaran, with a wide, stable deck and a big open lounge, built for groups of up to 25.
- Salacia: a 62-foot Sea Ray with an elevated bar, two staterooms and two restrooms, a motorized swim platform, a salon with extended seating, outdoor air conditioning under the hard top, and a full sound system around the boat.
- Calypso: a 51-foot Sea Ray Sundancer with an outdoor kitchen, grill and wet bar, about 350 square feet of air-conditioned living space, two staterooms, two bathrooms and swim platforms.
- Iris: a Sea Ray Sundancer with new seating, a bow sunbathing area, extended hard-top coverage with outdoor air conditioning, two bedrooms, two baths and a 10-speaker sound system.
All boats have restrooms, and our FAQ notes a full shower on board. Music can be played through Bluetooth from your own playlist. USB chargers are on board so phones don’t run out.
See the full details on our fleet page.
The food
Every charter includes snacks and a full meal that matches the time of day, morning trips get a lighter selection and evening trips get a dinner. A full-day charter includes a lunch, and our full-day trips are built around an island beach barbecue.
Optional upgrades:
- Charcuterie boards: $200 (small) or $300 (large)
- An additional main course for guests who want to choose their own: $125 per person
- A lobster lunch from our barbecue when lobster is in season (August 1 through March 31) and available, at an additional fee. Ask for the current price.
If anyone in your group has dietary needs or allergies, tell us at booking and we’ll plan around them.
The drinks
Premium drinks are included on every charter:
- A champagne toast as you leave the marina
- White wine
- Champagne
- Local beer and Bud Light
- Soda and water
Guests are welcome to bring their own drinks or special requests, but we ask that you talk to our team before you arrive so we can advise you. On Salacia, drinks are served from an elevated bar with a bartender.
The water toys and gear
Included:
- Snorkel masks, snorkels and snorkel vests for every guest
- Paddleboards
- Tubes for kids when the boat is cruising between stops
- Life jackets, including infant life jackets
Optional add-ons:
- Jet ski: $350 per hour, per jet ski. A vendor meets the boat at your stop.
- SeaBob: a powered underwater sled that lets you glide through the water. $350 per SeaBob, per charter. We have a limited number, so ask when you book.
Water sports are always at your own risk, and your crew will brief you before you get in the water. We choose snorkel sites based on conditions that day, so nervous swimmers can enjoy the reef.
Time on the water
Every trip has a set length:
- Half day (4 hours): a morning or afternoon charter, with time for snorkeling stops and a beach or cay.
- Full day (8 hours): starts in the morning, around 8:00 to 9:00 am, and leaves time for snorkeling, one or more cays, and a beach barbecue lunch. Extra hours are available if the boat is free: $900 on Calypso or Iris, $1,100 on Salacia, $1,300 on VENUS.
- Sunset cruise (2.5 hours): timed to the sunset, with dinner cruise options. In winter, sunset is around 5:30 pm.
Ask us for the exact departure and return time for your date when you book.
Pickup and getting aboard

A typical full-day charter, step by step
A full-day charter often runs like this:
- Board at Turtle Cove Marina around 8:00 to 9:00 am. The crew welcomes you, walks through the boat, and pours the champagne toast as you leave the dock.
- Cruise the north shore. The captain and deckhand point out landmarks and explain a little history on the way.
- First snorkel stop at a reef chosen for that morning’s conditions, with vests and gear handed out and a briefing from the crew.
- Iguana Island or Half Moon Bay, or a quiet stretch of beach at a cay, for a walk, a swim and time on the sand.
- Lunch. On a full day, this is a beach barbecue lunch or a meal on board, with drinks throughout.
- Second snorkel stop, a sandbar, or the shipwreck, depending on what your group wants.
- Cruise back with music and a cold drink, and dock at the marina.
Half-day charters follow the same pattern with fewer stops, and sunset cruises trade the reef for the evening light. The captain adjusts to weather and your group.
What it costs
Our rates start at $2,800 for a sunset cruise on Calypso or Iris and run to $9,800 for a full day on VENUS, before tax and the processing fee, for up to six guests. Everything listed under “included” above is in that price. We walk through the numbers, with per-person examples, in our pricing guide.
Special occasions
Birthday, anniversary, proposal, reunion, corporate day: tell us when you book. We can add a charcuterie board and other touches on request. Ask what’s possible for your date.
What happens if the weather turns?
Safety comes first. If conditions are considered unsafe or unsuitable by the captain or management, you can reschedule (subject to availability) or receive a full refund. Rain showers in Turks and Caicos are often brief and the weather can differ from one side of the island to the other, so unless we contact you, the day runs as scheduled.
How to book
The fastest way is our online booking calendar, which shows availability for your date. You can also call (649) 232-3633 or message us on WhatsApp. Tell us your dates and group size, and we’ll confirm the right boat and trip.
